Project Specs

A section of the kitchen wall was removed to merge the living with the kitchen area, creating an open concept space.  By eliminating the wall, natural light flows effortlessly throughout this space.  Equilibrium is achieved by the arrangement of the wall and base cabinets in relation to the stove and refrigerator.  The rectangular shape can be seen throughout this space; it is witnessed in the wood floor planks, subway tile; drawers and doors of cabinets.  The oversized island houses the recycling/trash, dishwasher, sink and a base cabinet of drawers for storage.  The grey subway tile and rich brown cabinets are reflected in the pattern and color of the counter top. These kitchen cabinets are from Choice Cabinet, the style is called Kensington.  Kensington is the perfect selection for those seeking a true furniture feel to their cabinetry. The door style is full overlay, consisting of a mitered stile and rail.  The drawer fronts are fivepiece.  These cabinets are made from Maple, with a deep, rich, warm walnut stain.
